Elizabeth Turk – Expanding Sculpture: The Language of OBJECTS to The Language of EXPERIENCES How do solitary fine art studio practices transition into creating platforms for public experiences and back again? A native Californian, Elizabeth Turk is an artist, known for marble sculpture and participatory, community art activations. Currently, she splits time between a studio in Santa Ana, CA and NYC. She is a MacArthur Fellow, an Annalee & Barnett Newman Foundation recipient and a Smithsonian Artist Fellow among other awards.
