FREE event! Great Drinks! Costume Contest! Special Snacks! Community Ofrenda. Bring a photo and offering for the altar, candles provided. ALL AGES welcome. Facebook event invite Jefferson Center for the Arts invites all ages to come join in their day of the dead community celebration on November 1. Gathering at 6, Ofrenda Building and educational presentation at 6:30, pot luck, face painting, crafters and more. KANGARILLA starts at 7:30. KANGARILLA fantastic local rock band will headline the event. Bring a photo or photos of your loved ones who have passed on… along with an offering for the community ofrenda. Flowers, sugar skulls and battery operated candles are welcome. Cash prizes for best costume. Beer, wine, sodas and sweet treats available for purchase. This is a FREE ALL AGES event!
